RaymondK.Dec 5, 200310Beautiful graphics, superb realism, runs smooth even without top notch hardware. love the cannon smoke, it's like I am looking through the lense of a gun camera, beats MS CFS 3 hands down!

Apr 18, 201210This totally blew me away like no game has since. For the 2012+ audience, if you dont mind the now old graphics or have an old computer and have a shred of interest in flight, get this game (or get IL2 1946, which is the most updated version and still costs next to nothing now)

AntonL.Dec 7, 200210And after an year IL-2 stay simply the best. And now it runs smooth on general current PC.

MikeApr 17, 200210This game is the best Game I have ever played. It's better than all the Microsoft Games in the world. Every time they Update it gets better. There's No way any other Flight games can out do this game. Even on a 56K internet I can play with no lagg and have a great time playing.

Mar 5, 20118Realism is good, almost always anyway graphics rule and that stuff. the only problem is that it gets boring later. The best flight simulator I've never played its just awesome and i agree with TheHutch, yes, the menus are really boring. (sry for my bad English:D)

92Destined to be a classic. This is one of those simulations that reminds you why you love the genre. It has all the fidelity, immersion, playability, polish, and graphical splendor that enriched classics like "Red Baron," "Aces over the Pacific," "Falcon 3.0," and "European Air War."

Put simply this game is such a well rounded and comprehensive effort that it will take some beating before it is shot down and rendered missing in action by a competitor.

100A vitamin injection of originality, putting the sheer joy of flying back into combat flight simulation. It's an experience you do not want to miss.
