A mishmash of simple text adventuring and lots of different minigames. Strangely, it kind of works, thanks largely to the interesting story. It's too easy and lacking in presentation, but a nice little space adventure nonetheless. [Aug 2012]

Other than the acting side of things, which is always an issue with smaller budget titles, there's little 'wrong' with J.U.L.I.A, it's just more of a case of what's right isn't right enough.

Despite dated visuals J.U.L.I.A. offers around 8 hours of interesting story, unusual gameplay mechanics and varied puzzles. [June 2012, p.71]

The bulk of JULIA feels like an attempt to pad out the story. [May 2012, p.111]
