  1. While Larva Mortus won’t satisfy your shooter itch if you’re a die hard fan of 3D shooters, if you enjoy a good dungeon romp, and don’t mind the highly detailed 2D graphics, it’s definitely worth the price.
  2. Just a pretty good indie adventure: the difficulty and pacing are absolutely spot-on, even if the visuals lack the ostentatious fireworks we're used to these days. [June 2009, p.99]
  3. Overall the game is fun and is lacking in several areas, but in the end not enough to say this game is not worth buying for action gaming fans it is, but just do not expect too much and you should have plenty of fun.
  4. Blandly fun for a bit. [Aug 2009, p.73]

I got this game very cheap off of Steam and am pleasantly surprised. It's a very solid top down shooter with minor rpg elements that will last upwards of ten hours depending on how you play. The action is frantic, the difficulty is there however it never feels too hard, the monsters are varied and on the whole I really enjoy it. It's probably not the best shooter on the market of it's kind, however it's more than worth the small price tag. Recommended. Full Review »
  2. I enjoyed this game immensely. Fairly short but more than worth the price (75% discount on steam). It was very obviously made by an indie studio and it shows in the minor grammatical errors (which do lend it some charm). There are lots of different types of weapons, each having their strengths & weaknesses. You can only carry a limited amount of ammo which means you'll be using all of the weapons instead of just the most powerful one. Has minor RPG elements. Graphics are good and quite charming. The dungeons are randomized, but the game probably doesn't have much replayability. I heartily recommend this game. Full Review »
  3. This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Lovely horror & atmosphere. Absolutely timeless & one of the top 20 games in my collection. --(very good prize) I like the kind of graphics which works on both D3D and Open GL graphic-driver.
Even on 24 " TFT good looking. For Monster - and Vampire Hunters a must play !
