Last Days of Old Earth is a 4X-meets-CCG with a personality of its own. While fairly light on content, it features good gameplay and a solid AI.
Last Days of Old Earth brings a classic strategy gameplay combined with an interesting card system. The fans of the genre surely will enjoy it, but it is too complicated for the players that have not tried this kind of games.
The Last Days of Old Earth is one of those lighter weight strategy games that can scratch a quick itch to unwind after a long day (beer and all), but is not the sort of game you will sit down with for an entire afternoon.
Auroch Digital failed in its attempt to make a simplified version of Armageddon Empires. By removing the most difficult elements, the developers robbed the game of its charm, and new gameplay modes and improved UI can't fill the void.

Summary Last Days of Old Earth is a turn-based strategy game set in a far future world where the sun is dying. The remnants of humanity must migrate once a generation towards the equator where it is still warm enough to sustain life.
