  1. The sequel has a style and methodology that are similar to the original. However, a far more engaging storyline and a less-intensive reliance on the player's knowledge of legal procedures definitely makes Double or Nothing a better game.
  2. Even though I enjoyed the case more in Double or Nothing, I didn’t enjoy playing the game as much because I felt like I had done it all before.

Aside from the thrill of solving a few puzzles, though, there's little difference between playing L&O2 and watching NBC on Wednesday night.

Yes, the game has its faults, but like the show, Double or Nothing succeeds on the quality of its writing, and complements the TV show very well.
  5. Fans of the TV series and casual gamers would do well to give Double or Nothing a try, but it probably won’t appeal to seasoned gamers.
  6. Ultimately, Law and Order 2 slightly exceeds its predecessor, mostly due to simplified gameplay. The storyline and voice acting make this a must have for every self-respecting Law and Order fan.
  7. I enjoyed Law & Order II: Double or Nothing. It's a bit different, not too taxing, well written and presented; hard to complain really.
  8. Geared more towards the casual player, and the game’s simple interface and play mechanics reflect that.

Game features pictures of a real life murdered toddler, James Bulger. It was appalling what them scumbags did to this poor innocent child in Game features pictures of a real life murdered toddler, James Bulger. It was appalling what them scumbags did to this poor innocent child in 1993, it was even more appalling that they got released in 2001, and it's absolutely unacceptable to think that they are now getting publicity of this in this game. I note the game manufacturer has done a good thing and removed the images now, but really they should never have used them in the first place. Full Review »
