75Take a blender, throw in a copy of "Diablo II" and "Baldur's Gate II," season with vodka, and what do you get? Konung: Legend Of The North, a real-time, role-playing game from Russian developmental studio 1C. It's a Baldur-ish spin-off that, despite its budget price, does quite a few things right.
-
70It lacks in originality, and the play is a little slow. But while this is not the kind of game that will take your breath away, it is the kind of game that because of its simplistic nature will draw you back to play it.
-
45To make a painfully long story short, even at a $20 price point, you won't eke a smidgen of amusment out of this product, unless you receive it as a white elephant gift.
-
42The dialog can be humorous, and there's plenty of classic RPG character building. The party system falls apart in combat, and quests are tiresome scavenger hunts and postal chores.
