  1. It's simply an average two-bit thug. [Aug 2007, p.63]
  2. Vietnam veteran Joey Verolla is a really, really tough guy who can not only lift two kalashnikovs but also fire them simultaneously. And he does this trick with any other handgun, even SPAS. If it doesn't properly impress his enemies, it's because they are brainless. As is the entire game - despite some interesting mission designs, quite amusing (and gory) finishing sequences and virtually useless ability to seek cover by putting your back to the wall, this shooter is as simple as some precursors of the genre. [March 2008]
  3. There are a million and one better shooters out there. [Dec 2006, p.118]
  4. If you missed out on the slow motion craze a couple of years ago, then this might be the game for you to pick. On second thought, just try to find "Max Payne." The poor execution to the game is where the real harm is in Made Man.
  5. Just as frustrating is the shoddy timing and placement of enemies. [Dec 2006, p.74]
  6. If you are a hardcore action shooter fan, you may be insulted by the total lack of challenge or variation in the gameplay, and if you are not, there is nothing here to attract you to this uninspired generic disappointment. This is one confession that should have stayed within the family.
  7. The problem's with the lack of inspiration or effort. [Christmas 2006, p.81]
  8. Utterly horrendous in every conceivable aspect.
  9. After a few hours with Made Man, you'll be begging for someone to put two in the back of your head.

Made Man's combat is as boring as daytime television, and all you do is fight.

TBH the game gets a bit difficult after a while, the gameplay urges you to stay at cover, but the cover mechanics are not the best. the levels have a lot of variety, but the design of them just good enough to keep you going. the game in general is ugly for the PC platform, you wouldnt expect this game to come out the same year as crysis in terms of graphics. If your into a game where you have endless killing, going from point A to point B, with essentially no plot, then this game is for you. You If your into a game where you have endless killing, going from point A to point B, with essentially no plot, then this game is for you. You might as well play an old version of Counter Strike, at least CS doesn't get boring fast. The publishers were obviously trying to make some quick cash. Full Review »
