The ones stabbing your tax collectors with their spears? Can the shamans of the God of Plague rival the very gods themselves? From whence does his avatars appear, and who is to blame? The search for answers to these questions is unlikely to improve your sleep , but will surely give you many hours of new and exciting battles when the war with the goblins descends upon the peaceful lands of Ardania. And besides, how better could the nights of the Great King be spent? Become not only the king of Ardania, but its creator as well. [Paradox Interactive] Expand

  1. A decent add-on for a great game. Some new buildings would have been nice. [May 2010]
  2. As a grizzled and scarred veteran of the original this expansion pack offered a satisfying challenge to get my teeth into. Anyone who enjoyed the game will enjoy this expansion.
  3. Majesty 2: Kingmaker will appeal to two types of people; those who enjoyed the original so much that they cuddle the game box while they sleep, and masochists.
  4. Kingmaker is a more-of-the-same expansion for Majesty 2 that adds little to the original game's formula aside from intense difficulty and a map editor.
  5. Short but extremely tough add-on to the kingdom sim may address devotees of the original game but brings no better playability or improvements except for the map editor. [Issue#191]
  6. Basically eight new maps for Majesty 2. [July 2010, p.91]
  7. If you liked Majesty 2, don’t pick up Kingmaker. Better wait for the inevitable Gold Edition that is bound to hit shelves sooner or later.

On top of that, you can still apply the same strategy to each and every map and it is all still a rather monotonous grind but sometimes that's exactly what you need to relax. Expand
