Majesty 2 embarks on its best expansion yet, adding monster sidekicks and softening the difficulty level to the real-time king simulation.
If you're looking for the one expansion pack to play for Majesty 2, then this is it. But if you're tired of Majesty 2 already, picking this up isn't going to make you love it again.
While Majesty 2: Monster Kingdom doesn't reinvent any part of the gameplay, the change of scenery and units is appreciated, but in the end you're still playing the same exact game with a new coat of paint. The unrelenting difficulty, arguably even higher than the last expansion's, makes this entry for Majesty die-hards only.
New campaign enhances the frustration of the bad artificial intelligence due to its extreme difficulty. The game is long but is enjoyed only by the biggest fans of the original game. [Issue#200]
Monster Kingdom is too uninspired and weak to entice the veterans of
the original Majesty, and it will definitely won't attract any new
fans.

Summary In this final expansion, players continue the story from the land of Ardania. Only now the king has been overthrown and has fled the safety of his palace.
