  1. A nice little program. While not overly complex, it still is entertaining.

Building your own galleria is fun for a bit, but because it's such a simple economic simulation, there's just no staying power here.
  3. The game's excellent music just can't compensate for its poor graphics or clunky interface.
  4. The primary problem with Mall Tycoon is that you don't get nearly enough feedback from your shoppers.
  5. My biggest complaint is that you can't design your own stores: you have to use one of the four ultra-bland pre-fabricated designs. [May 2002, p.69]
  6. While this might seem to be a mall rat's dream, Mall Tycoon falls short of the mark as either a business simulation or a shopping center builder.
  7. Mall Tycoon's anemic execution really turns any simulation aspects into micromanagement chaos.
  8. It's ugly, bland, boring and nondescript. Kind of like the average mall.
  9. Vintage 1994 graphics and laughable gameplay make this one the first games of 2002 to snatch a deserved one-star rating.
  10. This game is so not fun, it almost put me into a coma. [May 2002, p.86]

This is an amazing game. It has such simple graphics, yet it is a great game idea. I think the zombies are a bad idea, the game is very realistic until the zombies come along. Full Review »

It's fun and all but you need to get rid of the zombies becasue how does it fit into the whole gaming? And the graphics, Not so good...
