  1. Unfortunately, the experience isn't very exciting -- although the table variations may may spice up the game, they only add novelty value.
  2. It's not quite up to the level of Interplay's "Virtual Pool" series, but Maximum Pool more than holds it's own.
  3. Its unique 'cool games' and solid interface make it well worth its low price and if you're in the market for a new pool game to try out, it is definitely worthy of your consideration.
  4. The gameplay interface can prove to be very cumbersome, but if you can learn to tolerate how it plays, Maximum Pool is a great deal.

Sharp graphics, brilliantly modeled physics, and a pick up and play interface come together in a wonderful package that'll evoke more oohs, ahhs, and pearly white grins than a behind the back masse' shot.
