  1. Easy to pick up, fun to play, and highly addictive anyway you cut, slice and dice it.
  2. An excellent and enjoyable tactical combat game for those who don't enjoy base building or resource gathering.
  3. Anyone who has an interest in Military strategy with a whole lot of sci-fi thrown in should definitely go buy a copy of MechCommander 2, you’ll get your money's worth from the amount of playing time you’ll invest.
  4. The eye-catching graphics, solid sound effects, easy interface, and some nice multiplayer options more than make up for missing skirmishes. [Nov 2002, p.113]

    Handsome and smoothly executed.
  6. Those simply looking for a visually impressive, enjoyable real-time strategy game set in the BattleTech universe should find that MC 2 fits that description well.
  7. Good, and worth the time of BattleTech fans, but unless Microsoft fixes the performance issues it will never be a great game.

Only thing I would add is a skermish mode, wich would make it very nearly 10. Expand

Fantastic game. Mechcommander was (is) good, and the sequel is actually better. Graphically it's everything it needs to be, gameplay-wiseFantastic game. Mechcommander was (is) good, and the sequel is actually better. Graphically it's everything it needs to be, gameplay-wise there's notable differences between the mechs and huge flexibility in how you approach each level and objective. Personally I'd give it an 8.5, but 9 will do. Recommended. Expand
