A game for Yankees only. A game with a "little" anti-Japanese propaganda. Anyway, the graphics are good, but the scripting is not always. The story is not bad, maybe a little boring. The AI is mediocre. What else can I say about this game? It's not a good one, but also it's not a bad one.

Severely mediocre. The core gameplay is there, and feels like a PC version of European Assault (a better game), but feels a bit more tactical due to being able to command your squad. However, this point becomes all but null due to the utterluly inept AI. Weapons are weak, sound is all overcompressed and sounds pretty sub-par. Game has no effective pacing, and drags some segments (like aSeverely mediocre. Game has no effective pacing, and drags some segments (like a part where you fight off literally more than 300 soldiers on a hill) and ends some abruptly. The graphics are alright for the time, with some especially good particle effects, shaders, and water. However, textures are fairly muddy and low-res. Like most Medal of Honor games, it has excellent music. Environments are all jungles and villages with no variety, but maps are big and can be fun and tense to explore and fight in. The worst thing about this game is the loading screens... even on a modern machine (8 core CPU, GTX 760) loading screens take several minutes. They happen every level and every time you die, and its absolutely infuriating.

Overall, its not terrible, but its terribly mediocre. MoH is one of my favorite series, but this is definitely a weak entry.

It does not in any way live up to expectation... this is just more of the same. we've had shooters changing these last few months, and mohpa cannot hang in with farcry/halflife2.

Average release at best. AI suspect. Certain parts of the game were very scripted where you have to cross a specific line before the enemy activates. Not outright a bad thing, but when you deduce where the enemy will be, you have the spot targeted, and then the enemy shows up and basically has a free shot...frustrating. Just an example. Savvy gamers mature. With a willingness to spend Average release at best. AI suspect. Certain parts of the game were very scripted where you have to cross a specific line before the enemy activates. Savvy gamers mature. With a willingness to spend hundreds if not thousands of bucks per year on gaming relative spends (sometimes you upgrade your machine(s) to run the new games), I expect the richness of experience of single and multiplayer games to improve with time. Realism is a big part of that experience. It's clear that EA is not keeping up with their customer base. Honestly, I can tell you of at least 15 people who have pretty much permanently moved away from purchasing EA games on any platform. I for one have not reached that point, but there are other companies offering much better products...and they're making it a pretty easy decision going forward. Expand

If there had been more variation on mission type, enemy AI hadn't cheated, and the feel of the weapons had been more solid, the gameplay could have lived up the awesome presentation value that the rest of the package promised.
  2. It's got frenzied action, a thoughtful storyline, and gameplay that will swallow you whole.

Perhaps it's because after countless other games, particularly Call of Duty, those once magnificent scenes of senseless destruction no longer have the impact they once did. Scripted sequences have perhaps gone as far as they can go with these games.
