Apr 20, 201250Condemned Heroes isn't a bad addition to the series, but it is limited and predictable, which might be a tough sell to those who have seen all of this before. Additionally, the intensely frustrating difficulty makes the game an even dicier proposition for casual gamers or series newbies looking to get into some WWII squad combat. So venture into this one only if you're looking for a lot of repetitive reasons to pull out your hair.

Apr 21, 201275Men of War: Condemned Heroes is an intuitive, challenging and spectacular RTS that allows the player to control one unit on the battlefield. But it's getting old and the complete lack of evolution is a big flaw.
-
May 4, 201280Men of War Condemned Heroes tells the story of the penal battalions during World War II. The single player is really difficult, but fun and deep. A good game for all lovers of good strategy!
-
May 1, 201240This game is worth neither your money nor your time.

Jun 18, 201260Every old advantage and mistake is present in this new installment in the Men of War series. Fans won't be disappointed but newcomers might be confused. [June 2012]
-
May 10, 201265A good game. The question is; do you have the patience to play it? Newcomers to the genre probably won't, and even veterans might get easily annoyed at the feeling of helplessness the game can give you when there are so many units but such little control.
-
May 11, 201260The MoW formula still satisfies, but familiar units and a stale setting leave this swansong feeling superfluous. [June 2012, p.94]
-
Apr 23, 201250Fans of the Men of War series have already had their fill of World War II long before Condemned Heroes, and newcomers will get stuck on the very first mission. There's no life left in this concept.

Jul 2, 201267This realtime tactic is as inviting as an Ukrainian dugout. But strangely enough, if you finally got yourself immersed in the partially unfair skirmishes, all of a sudden you want to continue.
-
May 10, 201255One of the most undercooked Men of War games. Ukrainian studio rests on its laurels and needs a rival that would force it to do something new or at least let the World War II go. [June 2012, p.86]
-
May 20, 201230Men of War: Condemned Heroes does fail in everything that matters. Missions are stereotypical, AI is weak, its technical execution is miserable with plenty of bugs, the game design is left to chance and the missions are hard enough to satisfy a sadist.
-
May 8, 201250The developers have cut corners and offer us only new missions with some minor flaws. But Condemned Heroes still can be fun. The problem is this: 1C have created a game for the most hardcore fans of the series only - those who have completed previous installments and want more. The rest should stay with basic Men of War and the Assault Squad expansion.
