In conclusion, Midnight Mysteries Salem Witch Trials works on most levels and contains some exceptional graphics and a haunting soundtrack. Puzzles are not as difficult as some other hidden object games but unfortunately the replay value is quite limited to either one or two attempts.

Despite the convoluted story, Midnight Mysteries: Salem Witch Trials is an entertaining game from start to finish, offering about 3 to 4 hours of gameplay in story mode.

However, there is something very interesting about this game as is actually centred around quite an interesting story. This is something I have never really seen point and click games do very well before… The general quality of the game in terms of environments (well scenes) is quite average, however I have been thoroughly entertained by playing this game… It’s probably the perfect kind of game to play on a rainy afternoon!
