  1. After logging in a ton of hours on the game, I can say it blows away previous games.
  2. The graphics suite the style of the game well, and the Music suites the gameplay.
  3. It is really a shame that the game was allowed to be released before it was tweaked sufficiently. Unfortunately, these are major problems that greatly affect the gameplay and game players.

It was worth every penny I paid for it, though it took me a while to realize how good the game really was.
  5. The 3D graphics all look positively amateurish. [July 2002, p.62]
  6. The extremely behind-the-times graphics, frustrating interface and game mechanics, and lackluster plot all lead to a gaming experience that's more tedium than it's worth.
  7. I lack words to properly describe my disgust with this game. This game looks like somebody made the developers design it at gunpoint.

I find peoples reviews overly harsh. 3DO tried something different, tried to move to the next millenium. But as usual with such beloved franchise it didn't catch the hearts of the fans. Changes were so obvious that most of the people didn't bother getting to know the new game.

My first touch with Might & Magic came with VII (7), I remember how it most certainly didn't pull me in at first. Took me several weeks or even over a month to really get into it. After this I was sold and went and bought all the other Might & Magic games as well.

MMIX might not be as intuitive or even as entertaining as the three previous ones, but it most certainly isn't worth 0 points. Personally I wish they would continue on the path that they took with MM9, but refine it a lot.

Might & Magic 6 was better. And would give MM6 6 points!

    I played MM6 - MM8. MM9 sucks. Don't waste your money.

The absolutely worst RPG ever. Playing hopscotch with a blind snail from Pakistan would be more entertaining.

I am one of the greatest funs of the series and this game was simply horrible. With Dark Messiah the series died and with them the beautiful world of M&M. Expand
