Minecraft: Story Mode has been such an enjoyable adventure to go through from start to finish, and even if Telltale chooses to leave this story as it is, I’d say they’ve done a pretty good job at constructing a simple but meaningful story with a satisfying close at the end.
Ya know, I am not a good guy. I've done many bad things that I'm ashamed of, they're not so bad (I didn't kill anyone, etc), but still. But this game melted my rotten heart... I never thought I would cry in the Credits part. I guess, deep somewhere in me, I just want to be like Jesse : exploring temples, go on adventures and... have good friends I would want to spend my life with. But, these are just my dreams. 'cause life is tough, and, well, I will never be the one, like the main characters. Jesse, Petra, Olivia, Lukas, Alex and so on.....they are just a one of the many examples of the people and the world we won't ever have and won't EVER deserve. We will be drown in our Wrath, Greed, and other five Bad Sins (even though I'm an atheist, but still). But, with games like these, a little light of Hope appears inside me, because of games like this one. So, I want to thank TellTale Games, even though, unfortunately, they're are closing after finishing their "Walking Dead" game... it was quite nice though, I have hope someone will continue this whole Minecraft thing and we'll get the 3 Season of it as it fully deserves.
Oh, sorry. I'm just lost in thought's. So. I wanted to write Thank You if you read the whole thing written on a keyboard by a teenager with a rotten heart. Who knows, maybe we don't live ONCE and we will be great adventurers in next life! Or we'will be able to make journeys through Alternative Universes!.... Ah.. I guess, like I wrote earlier - just dreams...maybe.....
Ok, that's all for now. Thank You again, 'cause I should be going to sleep now. Goodbye, and may your life be worthy of living!
The season ends with an action-packed episode that neatly ties up the core themes running through the season. It is lacking in the humour of some of the previous episodes and the violence towards the end feels a little out of place.
Like a good heist film, episode five gradually builds tension until even the smallest actions seem to have tremendous ramifications if done wrong. The idea of deliberately failing QTEs to see if they really matter fades away, because everything seems to matter. However, like a bad heist film, the stakes are occasionally undermined by showing just how far the odds have been swung in the hero's favour. As a conclusion (possibly for good) to Minecraft: Story Mode Season Two - Episode 5 is still strong, never becoming close to a chore to play. It's just a shame that it ended up being one of the weaker points of the season.
Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 - Episode 5 doesn't stick the landing, but it also doesn't fall totally on its face. It's a suitable conclusion to the season, but if you haven't bought in yet, there's not much reason to now.
Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Episode 5 feels like a half-thought ending to the season. It leaves a few questions unanswered and the story is extremely basic and uninteresting. At no point throughout did Season 2 Episode 5 amaze me, except in the voice cast, which was consistently brilliant through the episode. Seeing all of your choices come together is also entertaining, and is done better than most other TellTale games. Overall, Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Episode 5 is a boring conclusion to the season with half-thought plot points.
