If you have a bit of cash lying around and want something like "Diablo" where you can play online and solo, then this is a game that you should really consider investing in.
I enjoy playing this game immensely, with its many vast lands to explore, you can choose to play on the side of good or evil and unlock monsters along the way by completing quests as you delve deeper into the realms. you have the ability to multi-class you characters which makes for an almost limitless mix of classes and abilities. One can strive to become and enchanter and enchant weapons and armor or take on the challenge of crafting your own weapons and armor plus many other skills. The community of players are very helpful and knowledgeable and one can get as much or little assistance as one wants, there are many player guilds one can join or get some friends together and create your own guild and lead your band into battle against the enemy or even against other players or player guilds. If you enjoy a game that you just stroll through and the game pretty much plays itself then this is probably not the game for you but if you enjoy a challenge and a game that really puts you in control of your own destiny then this is right up your alley.
After playing Minions of Mirth for three years, and getting Premium after a month of playing, I loved the game so much, I even bought a second account. With the community, events, raids, and environment filled with strange, scary, and beautiful creatures, you begin to forget you were even playing a game. Retro style MMORPG with great help, wonderful players and the very open owner who chats with players daily. Even after three years, I still haven't finished "playing." This game keeps you interested, even well after purchasing for the cheap one time fee of $30. Each time you log in the game, you are taken back to a time and are left breathless by the classical music, and amazing single player/Multiplayer community. With moderators/GMs (Guardians) watching chats and helping new players, you feel at ease with this game that allows almost any age to play. I would gladly stay with this game until the end of time. Worth every penny and all the time I ever spent on it.
I bought the premium edition of this game right away. The community, quests, and overall mechanics of this game blew me away. The most attractive feature of this game for me was that I could play it on my Mac. I love minions of mirth and as a player of the game for a couple of years I would without a doubt recommend this fine game to anyone looking for an rpg to easily access and then get lost in.
As a premium player since October 28, 2006 and a free player a bit before that, I must say I have yet to find a game like Minions of Mirth. One thing that drew me to it was the fact that you could have three different classes in one character. Another thing was the one time fee of thirty dollars for premium use, which lets you use more items and gain levels up to 100. They have free and premium servers which are the same except for the level cap and item restrictions for free players. Another thing was that as you level and do quests you will unlock monster templates that you can use to make your own monster to play as. You can become anything from a little black bear all the way to a huge dragon. Also, monsters are not left out of quests, they have their own quest line now that will end with some really nice armor. I personally enjoy the leveling up to tri 100 and teaming with friends along the way. But at tri 100 even more fun begins. You will then begin to really focus on armor crafting, poison making, enchanting and weapons crafting. Plus all the farming to upgrade your spells making them even more stronger. It becomes addicting to farm the things you need and I even team with other tri 100s to make it go faster. There are summonings too that the immortals put on for the tri 100s. In these summonings, groups of tri 100s kill special monsters for a chance at some awesome items to brag about having and using. If your looking for a nice laid back MMO RPG, give minions of mirth a chance. You can't go wrong with a game that charges a one time fee of thirty dollars. It's well worth the money. Playing since 06 I have definitely got my money's worth.
SummaryMinions of Mirth is a massively multiplayer online world where you can battle as one of 16 different classes and 12 different races. Multiclass your characters with secondary and tertiary classes to increase their power!
