  • Summary: The people of Molar Creek have lived alongside the region's infamous exploding moles for hundreds of years but the night before the village's annual Mole Control competition and a mystery villain has set the exploding moles loose within the town itself. Mole Control is a puzzle game that brings the classic logic based game play of minesweeper into the 21st century. Pilot a crazy invention across a mind-bending adventure, or enjoy a frantic time attack challenge, all with the comical aim to rid one town of exploding moles. [Blizt] Collapse

  1. The gameplay doesn’t really change during the whole game, but it is really entertaining to hunt the moles from time to time. Thanks to the graphics a quite good casual game.
  2. 75
Mole Control may not be a perfect game and it sure as hell doesn't follow the fall and rise of a dysfunctional family in the town of Molar Creek. But what it is, is a fun title that can be enjoyed by a vast audience. A good balance of difficulty but challenging puzzles makes sure the player is never bored.
  3. Whether gamers decide for the go-at-your-own-pace adventure mode, or the more frenetic timed mode, Mole Control successfully updates the classic Minesweeper into the modern era of casual gaming with gameplay that is indeed challenging and entertaining.
  4. Mole Control is a cute remake of minesweeper, but there’s sadly not a lot you can do after playing for a couple of levels.
  5. Mole Control could have just as easily have been called Molesweeper
  6. Well, Mole Control is what it is, a fun romp in a old school style with a fresh quirky twist.
  7. Weary concept enhanced by sweet and cute visuals – no reason to pick this paid piece over the free version. [Issue#192]
