The most approachable this series has ever been, Monster Energy Supercross 5 is much kinder to newcomers while offering plenty of new content to please returning players. There’s still room for improvement but this game is the best Monster Energy Supercross title so far.
If you’re a supercross fan, it’s very easy to recommend Monster Energy Supercross 5. As ever, if you own one of its recent predecessors, it doesn’t really offer much that’s genuinely new. But improvements across the board, from handling to career features, make this the pinnacle of the series; it’s a must-have for ardent fans of the sport, and great for those looking for a way-in.

I'm impress how much fun this game is. It's not easy to learn the control but once you get the feeling of it is just great!.

The game is more of the same if you know the franchise and that in itself is good and bad news. Good news in the sense that you know what to expect in terms of gameplay, because that's just fine. Bad news in the sense that it hardly brings anything new. There is plenty to do and experience, but we know it all from previous parts. In addition, the graphics are in some parts a bit outdated, however in general it looks fine. On the other hand, there is fine gameplay and a fun career mode, but it is time to take innovative steps.
Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame takes advantage of the haptic feedback on the PS5 Dualsense controller. Thanks to this, players will feel the tension of racing on a sports bike. It might not look like a next-gen game, but fans will embrace the game thanks to its gameplay mechanics.
Compared to the first titles released since 2018, MES is more accessible, free, fast and clear in the composition of its game modes in addition to deepening its formula in the Solo career or the circuit editor. On the other hand, Milestone failed to make a leap forward from a graphical point of view, on the behavior of the AI, animations and collisions. Monster Energy Supercross isn't taking full advantage of the latest console generation just yet, and it's still going to take a while to feel a real sense of progression in the series.
If you want to get your supercross/motocross hit, then this game is the way to do it with its officially-licensed riders and tracks but it barely improves on last year's effort which itself was more of an evolution than a revolution.
Monster Energy Supercross 5 is easily Milestone's finest installment in the franchise, after a few years of diminishing returns. What Supercross 5 is missing in its surface-level game modes, it makes up for with thrilling racing at its core. Patience and a level head are needed to persevere upward through its demanding skill ceiling but it's wholeheartedly worth the pursuit. It's hard to tell whether future installments will offer enough innovation to keep the franchise riding on, but for now, we'll be tearing it up for fortune and glory.
Sin duda Monster Energy Supercross 5 es un título bastante completo que apela a sus fans y novatos por igual. Tiene mucha personalización en su jugabilidad junto las competencias multijugador en línea, para que jueguen en las mismas condiciones.
Los tutoriales ofrecen todo lo necesario para aprender a controlar la moto como un experto si le dedicas un tiempo. Hay una gran variedad de cosas por hacer para aquellos que prefieren el contenido para un jugador. El reto puede ser tan desafiante como tú quieras, pero igualmente debes ser cuidadoso si deseas avanzar y ganar. A pesar de que no domino el género, su experiencia jugable logra cautivar a novicias como yo.

The game is fun once you get used to the controls (which might take some time, but fortunately there are assists so you can still enjoy)My main problem is the inconsistent AI which can sometimes spoil the fun. I play on medium and on some tracks I beat the AI with 3-5s a lap, while on others I get destroyed and finish last. It feels really imbalanced. Also they alway crash into you. All in all it's enjoyable IMO. It looks good and it feels really nice on the PS5 controller. I got it for free on PS Plus, but will def think about buying one of the future iterations.

I’m confused by the rating. Usually the ratings are better than what I feel like they should be but not this one. This is my first time actually liking one of these games. Graphics are awesome, it really tricks the eyes into thinking it’s real. Also I read other saying it’s buggy. I have not had one single issue, maybe I started playing after an update. I started playing 9/20/22

The riding and handling are very good. Unfortunately the AI is game breaking. They do not know you are on the track. Drive right through you everytime. You crash but they do not. Graphics on Houston and Atlanta are unexplainably bad. For a perfect review go to Dr. Ace on youtube.

Good game on very easy or easy, once you hit medium and higher it starts to become pretty bad. I've put hundreds of hours in the previous versions of this game without problem but this one the racing is really bad. The physics are terrible and the constant being knocked off track by the other AI is game breaking. Keep waiting for it to be fun like the other versions but it never does. They need to use the Riders Republic bumping engine and their races are 64 people. 15 bucks on ps5 and I feel like I got ripped feel bad for the 60$ people
