Mortal Kombat X is easily the pinnacle of Mortal Kombat, building on every improvement the series made in 2011, adding depth to the main fighter and delivering advancement to the modes that only NetherRealm could offer.
This sucker is just as nasty, fun, and addictive as ever. It’s just that now the face-eating moves are more beautifully animated to keep up with new technology. What a time to be alive.

This game is super fun, 5050s are a bit too much.
Always hop on and enjoyed it for a long time.
But holy fxck, who tf is this crackhead Goro player called cbass slayer. Plays like a fxckin italian plumber, guy rolls his ballsack on the controller and somehow it works. Good thing I alwayd beat Exohydras bum ass son, mf has autism thinking Jason is hard Whatever

Good gameplay, tons of modes, in the lovable and unique Mortal Kombat style. Another very good job from NetherRealm Studios.
Mortal Kombat X is another superb entry in the franchise.
Underneath the blood and guts is a self-assured, generous and thoroughly modern fighting game.
It’s not perfect and has some thematic inconsistencies that let it down, but it is a gorily beautiful game, and as far as I’m aware, it’s the first one to have exploding testicles.
Netherrealm has taken a number of welcome steps forward with Mortal Kombat X, but no momentum is gathered, because it's stopped in its tracks by an avalanche of needless distractions, some miserable netcode and - oddly, for a game so obsessed with death in all its grisly forms - poor execution of decent ideas. [June 2015, p.106]
The coolest part of MK games. Much better than MK 11 in terms of combos and gameplay.

I myself like Sub Zero very much and I always chose Sub Zero, this is a nostalgic game and I know it has many fans and I respect all the fans of this game, but this game lacks something, it needs something to surprise us. It is and I haven't seen anything and I hope Mortal Kombat 11 has improved because I haven't played it yet, but overall this game has a long way to go to get a yellow or green rating from me.

Made to work on pre-gen consoles, so it pretty much looks and feels like the previous installment. They have removed some of my favourite kombatants(Kabal, Night Wolf, Baraka) with the offspring of other characters, my issue with this is that they play like clones with only a few exceptions.
Now the 'easy fatalitys', DLCs at launch and the p2w was the biggest disappointment, made me regret buying it as i didn't really get the whole game.
