The Italians at Milestone prove again that "two wheeled" games are their forte. MotoGP 13 is the most realistic and demanding motorcycle game of the past decade and a must-buy for MotoGP enthusiasts.
This is a game that puts the racing experience front and center. The physics model of the pros at Milestone is a piece of art that has only matured over the years. The sensation of speed might not be there yet and the console versions' 30 FPS are an issue, but the handling of the bikes is almost perfect.
It's certainly not a vision of beauty, but the developer's relentless passion for the sport comes across in every turn. [Sept 2013, p.77]
MotoGP 13 doesn't disappoint in terms of gameplay and depth, since it comes with a lot of game modes, but it does disappoint in terms of graphics.
Milestone brings back the real MOTO GP experience, unfortunately with many technical issues.
Milestone brings back the real MotoGP experience, unfortunately with many technical issues (graphics engine limps and suffers in the most hectic situations). Once again, it's a starting point to create, someday, the perfect hybrid between MotoGP 08 and GP500, but it's not the game that many fans have been waiting from Milestone.
The on-track action can be exhilarating, but the career is too functional to impress. MotoGP 13 goes just as far as it has to, but never becomes truly essential.
