    There is a very appealing quality to this game, that I'm pleased to say far surpasses the DS offering.

    Adults can stick to waiting for The Sims 3, but for kids, MySims is definitely worth a bet, even if you may be better suited to the more child-friendly Wii console.

    This game promotes the use of imagination by having players create buildings and craft new objects, but it doesn't go much further than that. Online multiplayer capabilities are nice, as long as other people you know have the game too.

    Geared more for younger players, MySims is a nice little experience with a linear story arc that players will have to play to unlock the wide variety of content.

    In short, MySims isn't really much like a traditional Sims game at all. There are no needs meters to watch, no life aspirations to fulfill, no career ladder to climb, no close social relationships to cultivate, and no genetics to combine-you'll probably want to stick to the main Sims line if you're looking for any of that. The simplified gameplay, however, is certainly more accessible and the content optimized for more casual and younger audiences.

    Apart from more life, this town needed more activities to spice it up, to avoid calling MySims as 'the game where you build furniture'.

    MySims was created for very young gamers, but is more than just "Sims Light" with cute graphics. It's actually quite complex, especially for children. The rewards and challenges are very well done. If you're less than 10 years old, this may be for you.

    Do not be mistaken by the word Sims in the name of this game. If you are eight years old girl (max!) the game offers a lot of fun for you… But anyone older should avoid MySims – seriously. [Dec 2008]
