  1. URU has promised an evolving story line that will unfold as you venture deeper into the Ages. We didn't really see it yet, though, and we have our avatar's fingers crossed that Cyan adds more features and evolves the storyline, and that more players will flock to this new breed of MMO.

While Ubisoft was right in aborting its earlier incarnation--as a standalone subscription-based game, it would've bombed--Myst Online is a fantastic fit for Gametap.com, letting you drop in for brief visits without feeling like you have to linger. [July 2007, p.60]

It's a bit weird that your character is sidestepping very slowly, so you have to turn alot. But when you get the hang of it, a really exciting and challenging puzzle game awaits. The visuals and audio are pretty nice, the world is open to explore and you have to use your brain in order to get done anything. But if you like smart design and intellectual engaging challenges, you will spend alot of time with Myst Online.

This game is simply amazing. Even though it's practicly only available on Gametap, it's still quite an awesome recipe in the mix. This game is simply amazing. Even though it's practicly only available on Gametap, it's still quite an awesome recipe in the mix. Although still buggy and can get boring when you've explored the new stuff, the game is vastly amazing. Huge worlds, challenging puzzles, and dazzling designs. So Cyan Worlds, keep up the great work. The game is showing much promise! Full Review »
