A fun distraction to keep you busy for a few hours. The game is moderately difficult, though some of the puzzles are too simple and easily solved. Some of the solutions were so obvious that I found myself solving them before I had even gathered any evidence or clues from the game. The music fits the time period, and voice acting is good. Graphics are not groundbreaking but are well-drawn and detailed. The game is not very long and can be finished in 2 or 3 sessions. I would recommend this for 11-16 year olds. My 11 year old watched me play and was able to solve most of the puzzles. Expand

  1. It’s not the “bees knees”s, and it’s not “all wet”, but it’s “keen;” good enough to keep you busy for a short period of time, and I’m sure some gamers will find something positive to say about some of the things I found negative. Case closed.

In the end, Nancy Drew: Secret of the Old Clock comes across as one of the lesser games in the ever popular series and that’s simply based on the puzzle content which is incredibly easy.
  3. A good game, but not one that lives up to the high standards set by previous Nancy Drew games. It's just too short.
