his campaign was excellent. The Guerilla unit was used frequently and the Preists/Provacatuers played key roles in the game. The game is very tactical and each nation has an interesting tactical position. The British with their small stronghold of Gibralter , Spain with desperate, divided positiions and the French with their vast armies spread across Iberia. My problems with the game ishis campaign was excellent. The Guerilla unit was used frequently and the Preists/Provacatuers played key roles in the game. My problems with the game is the lack of portugese playability and the requirement of mods and game editing to play as portugal. As a history lover I am a little saddened to see the lack of Portugese action. Expand

    I'm wildly outnumbered. [Sept 2010, p.93]
  2. The entire Spanish campaign, despite the great music, colorful scenery and a handful of new features, is just a rehash.
  3. The Peninsular Campaign is certainly an entertaining add-On for Total War Fans, especially the cooperative multiplayer mode. But for those who prefer to conquer the world and a long-term entertaining game experience, should rather remain with Empire: Total War or search for alternatives.
