  • Summary: Neverend is a fantasy RPG game in the style of Final Fantasy that takes you to a world of fairies and knights. You will control a fallen fairy Agavaen and guide her on her mysterious path. Gradually, you will uncover the game-world and besides improving your skills you will be able also to create your own spells and influence the fairy's persuasion. It is the persuasion that determines whether Agavean ends up as a good or evil fairy and which determines the storyline branching. These branches lead, of course, to different game endings. 1. The game reminded me of a graphic animated adventure, had arena-style, turn-based combat, and an interesting exploration system.
  2. The graphics hold the game back as most PC RPG's are better looking.
  3. If you can get past the technical issues, Neverend is a very good entry in the RPG/Adventure genre that's best suited for those who play games to experience new worlds, not new technology.
  4. A cheap and soulless victim of its own lofty ambition. [Oct 2006, p.91]
  5. Boring, difficult (due to poor design) and repetitive.
  6. Unless you're looking for some laughs or a trip down memory lane, stay far, far away from this one.
  7. The game is an unmitigated mess of technical issues and features sewn together like Frankenstein, and about as appealing as the sum of its miss-matched parts.
