NHL 2002 Image
  • Summary: EA's Canadian developing team returns to the ice with better graphics, improved lighting, create-a-player features, "Soul Calibur"-like digital NHL trading cards, and a dramatic new breakaway cam for those one-on-one, juke-the-goalie situations.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 10 out of 12
  2. Negative: 0 out of 12
  1. The action is so intense and over-the-top that you have to wonder if Mario Lemieux would have reconsidered unretirement if he played this game a year earlier.
  2. While some features are better, the most important part—the AI—has received little attention. While it's still a fun game, it's not much of an improvement over last year's edition.

Best game in the world. Graphics make the game almost look like the real thing. It couldn't be much better than this. All you people that say this game could be better and is not that good and is no different than 2001 are really stupid. Because this game is way better than 2002. It has a music importer so u can import your own music. It has a jersey importer so u can create your own jerseys from scratch. There's so much more. EA sports has done a great job with this game and hope that they continue their excellence in the NHL games in the mire feature. Expand

I loved this game! This is the best game ever! If you don't have it get it at any video game store. I loved it so much, I give it a 10.
