  1. A management nut’s dream. It doesn’t have quite all the depth options of Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 (better known as "Football Manager 2006"), but the number of options and the veracity of the simulation are staggering compared to anything that EA or 2K Games have come out with.

If you dream it, you can do it here. [Jan 2006, p.64]
  3. PC Gamer

A fantastically addictive and realistic management experience. [Feb 2006, p.90]
  4. Pelit (Finland)

Should have secured the rights to Finnish Elite league, otherwise it is a brilliant hockey management game. [Aug. 05]
  5. The massive database of over 32,000 players & staff and also over 3,000 teams is not something that can be sniffed at. And it is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the game so as not to disappoint the legions of loyal Ice Hockey fans.
  6. Offers amazing depth of play for even the most discriminating hockey fans. [Jan 2005, p.88]
  7. It's a hockey sim - a pretty darned good one, warts and all - and having a hockey sim in which I can lose myself has been a dream of mine ever since I first spent a weekend with Front Office Football.
  8. PC Format

To all intents and purposes, this game is identical to "Football Manager." The difference is while Brits understand the beautiful game, we haven't a clue about ice hockey. [Aug 2005, p.95]
  9. Pelaaja (Finland)

NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 is a step into a right direction after the unfinished feeling given by first game. However, it still needs more polishing before it can become a classic manager game like "Football Manager." [August 2005, p.69]
  10. The expected unfathomable depths of information are ready and waiting to be (pleasantly) drowned in, but it definitely isn't a lightweight affair. [PC Zone]
