The multiplayer won't hold most people's interest for more than a few rounds, but the creative level design as well as the minigames will keep most platform fans munching to the end.
This game is polished from the top of its fat round head to the bottom of its shiny red shoes.
A great re-creation of the arcade classic. The best part is the fact that the addictive gameplay, which made the original so popular, remains the same.
The occasionally sluggish control can be a little frustrating but not enough to take the fun out of the game.
A good example of how to do a modern-day remake--the new additions to the gameplay nicely complement the old, and the tried-and-true original formula comes through intact.
