Pangya looks good on paper. That's about as far as it gets.

After playing though the tutorial missions (Which aren't very helpful) You're forced to play in the lobby with everyone in it since there is NO player spread anywhere throughout the game. It's literally everyone in one lobby or no one in the lobby.

Since your playing with everyone a good 90% of the games you're going to play are filled with people who have personally ensured that the game remains running for several more years by buying tons and tons of flashy equipment and clothes. This gets worse when you couple it with the fact that they will never miss a single shot and the ball will always go exactly where they want it. Prepare for your bogie's to be beaten to the dirt by their eagles.

All of this aside the game starts asking you for money basically out of the starting gate with 11/12'ths of the item shop being points only and the rental versions costing you more pang than you earned in the time your renting it. (Pang is the ingame earned currency.)

With some heavy overhauls to the shop, player balancing, and less greed, Pangya could be a very good game. However, as it stands Pangya is best avoided.
