Predator: Hunting Grounds is a fantastic game to enjoy whenever you're in the mood for some chaotic and overly violent online multiplayer action. With that being said, playing it in long sessions will make the experience wear thin sooner rather than later.
Perfectly capturing the feel and look of the nadir of a 30 year-old-franchise, there is much to like about the single-minded offering of Predator: Hunting Grounds. Unfortunately, however, that joy and nostalgia is soon lost in repeating the same, limited experience ad nauseam, and doing so around a frustrating user experience. It's not a bad game, and is fun for a weekend, but it doesn't offer enough to justify it's price tag. This whole 4v1 experiment seemed to have already been tried and failed with the much more ambitious Evolve. I can't see how slapping the Predator franchise logo on the same concept is really going to keep a player base going.

The first time in a VERY long time, that I have been addicted to a game. Its soo refreshing to see developers make FUN games. You would think this game had a a budget of over 100M USD it did not. But ooh boy is'nt it fun. I thought the purpose of gaming was to have fun. Here is the KEY to the brilliance of this game. 1: Playing as the fire team is VERY enjoyable. There are objectives, the AI could be better, but can still challenge you, ESPECIALLY when you are simultaneously being attacked by both the AI and the Predator. The controls are excellent, the devotion to the Movies is what sets this apart, you can tell the developers are fans of the movies. GREAT JOB, BUY IT AND EJOY!!

At its best, Predator: Hunting Grounds is a tense asymmetrical shooter that forces you to pay attention to your surroundings in a dense, jungle environment. At its worst, it’s a mess of waiting, loading and gunning down shoddy AI-villains in forgettable missions.
There's an unshakable sense that almost everything is less finely-tuned than it should be. Still, this could be one of my favorite flawed games of 2020. It could be the one asymmetrical multiplayer title I keep up with for more than a few weeks. (Sorry, Resident Evil Resistance. I tried!). Granted, I'll need IllFonic to get in the weeds and fight the urge to over-balance, and I'll need my fellow mid-level players to stick with it so the rest of us aren't carved up by diehard Predator fans.
Predator: Hunting Grounds isn’t a terrible game. Not at all. But it’s just not good enough. The core of the game is decent, but it needs more maps, more interesting objectives when playing as the Fireteam, and simply more polish. On top of that, while playing as the Predator can be fun, you’ve got to be prepared to spend nearly half your time waiting on matchmaking, and then you could just find yourself running around a jungle like a headless chicken if the opposing Fireteam has its collective head screwed on. With a little bit of work and some additional content, Predator: Hunting Grounds could definitely be worth a purchase, but until then, you’re probably best steering clear.
So far, the game has been plagued by bugs, balance issues, bad AI, and worst of all, awful matchmaking times - so much so that the developer's live streams and social media presence has been hounded by unimpressed players. The game has some of the charm and the popular IP to gain an audience, but lacks the unpredictability, quality, and thrills of other titles in its genre. If you've been waiting 10 years for a Predator game and don't mind the premium price point, this might be one for the trophy case but do your research first.
Beside horrible matchmaking and a plethora of technical faults, Predator: Hunting Grounds is awfully unbalanced, looks downright ugly, severely lacks variety and is simply unpleasant to play. The game does have a lot of clever nods to the movies and a bunch of great ideas throughout, but the execution is generally really, really bad.
I think it is marvelously thrilling. If it gets support and continues to grow it can get the succes the formula deserves.

Not the worst multiplayer game ever, however it struggles with a few things. Matchmaking is poor and in game has plenty of glitches and bugs. Limited on maps and grounds. While hunts and clashes are fun, fast and violent they're is plenty to customise in regards classes and the Predators look very cool and intimidating. Good time killer and just have fun.

The game deserves more than it's being rated by most reviewers. It does have numerous flaws, one being load in times for games and the others being numerous in game glitches. I have had a lot of fun playing this game and it really does shine in the fun deparment. It can be thrilling at various moment's, taking us back to the atmosphere of the original film. The predator mechanics might take a little bit of getting used to. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys asymmetrical multiplayer games and experience of playing online with others.

This game just upsets me. It feels like it could be fun if it was more developed, but now it's just in a kind of "eh" state. It feels like they saw Dead by Daylight and said "do something like that" without understanding the core gameplay of it. As the Predator, you spend your time just looking for the survivors the entire time. And, if they all stay in a group, you don't stand a chance against them. Being a survivor can be fun. You do some first person shooter missions as survivor, that really have nothing to do with the Predator. You barely even see the Predator in most games, in fact I have played games where it never even found us. The Predator is barely even a threat anyway, unless you stray away from your group, then you can just die instantly. Though, I have had a few games that I really enjoyed, so it just makes me upset that most of the time it's nothing like that.
