100The short version is that Ubisoft has continued its storied tradition of doing nearly everything wrong yet somehow managing to produce a great game. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is awesome.
-
All of the game's elements mesh, from the music to the storyline, from the puzzles to the control system. I can't find anything nasty to say about this game. Ubisoft have certainly done their homework.
-
95This is easily best Prince of Persia game yet. The new moves, including those delicious stealth kills, work perfectly.
-
92The story, as always, is fantastic. I think that this game might have one of the most interesting and involved plots of many games today.
-
92The great talents at Ubisoft have done it again with this one folks and I don't think this is the last we will hear of the Prince of Persia.
-
The nice thing about sequels to successful games is that all the rough edges are buffed out, and The Two Thrones honors its graceful hero with impeccable controls and design.
-
90Whichever version you choose, though, the action is top-notch awesome. With the series' clever design and sense of humor fully restored, The Two Thrones is a stellar return to form for Prince of Persia.
-
90In a nutshell, we're giving Two Thrones PC an even more resounding recommendation than our already stellar rating of Two Thrones GCN, PS2 and Xbox. Just buy it and enjoy a legitimately solid, good game.
-
I sincerely hope that another PoP game is in development, because it would be a shame to lose everything a sequel could offer.
-
The development team used some real forethought when creating this trilogy. From a plot-development standpoint, think of it as the anti-"Star Wars." [Feb 2006, p.82]
-
In the end, The Two Thrones is a very solid action title that more than survived the transition from console to PC, especially if you happen to have a decent gamepad.
-
88Even though this series has had its bumps along the way, the end product was completely worth it.
-
88The main problem I had here in Two Thrones was, amazingly and sadly enough, the environments! In a franchise that held a high standard for level design, Two Thrones features bland and drab colors that are just uninteresting in so many ways.
-
If you enjoyed either of the first two games, then know that while Two Thrones isn’t revolutionary, it does combine the best elements of both and is still a fitting and worthwhile conclusion to a superior trilogy.
