  1. The short version is that Ubisoft has continued its storied tradition of doing nearly everything wrong yet somehow managing to produce a great game. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is awesome.
  2. All of the game's elements mesh, from the music to the storyline, from the puzzles to the control system. I can't find anything nasty to say about this game. Ubisoft have certainly done their homework.

This is easily best Prince of Persia game yet. The new moves, including those delicious stealth kills, work perfectly.
  4. The story, as always, is fantastic. I think that this game might have one of the most interesting and involved plots of many games today.
  5. The great talents at Ubisoft have done it again with this one folks and I don't think this is the last we will hear of the Prince of Persia.
  6. The nice thing about sequels to successful games is that all the rough edges are buffed out, and The Two Thrones honors its graceful hero with impeccable controls and design.
  7. Whichever version you choose, though, the action is top-notch awesome. With the series' clever design and sense of humor fully restored, The Two Thrones is a stellar return to form for Prince of Persia.

In a nutshell, we're giving Two Thrones PC an even more resounding recommendation than our already stellar rating of Two Thrones GCN, PS2 and Xbox. Just buy it and enjoy a legitimately solid, good game.
  9. I sincerely hope that another PoP game is in development, because it would be a shame to lose everything a sequel could offer.
  10. The development team used some real forethought when creating this trilogy. From a plot-development standpoint, think of it as the anti-"Star Wars." [Feb 2006, p.82]
  11. In the end, The Two Thrones is a very solid action title that more than survived the transition from console to PC, especially if you happen to have a decent gamepad.
  12. Even though this series has had its bumps along the way, the end product was completely worth it.
  13. The main problem I had here in Two Thrones was, amazingly and sadly enough, the environments! In a franchise that held a high standard for level design, Two Thrones features bland and drab colors that are just uninteresting in so many ways.
  14. If you enjoyed either of the first two games, then know that while Two Thrones isn’t revolutionary, it does combine the best elements of both and is still a fitting and worthwhile conclusion to a superior trilogy.

  1. Its a bad port. So bad that it makes, what appears to be a very fun and good game, totally unplayable. Do they expect PC players to play with controllers instead of mouse/keyboard? Full Review »
  2. The game may actually be great. Good luck finding out on this god-awful console port. Its control scheme is confounding and even after rebinding is sluggish. Worse still, you get many if not most of your tooltip advice geared toward Playstation players (maybe my mouse doesn't HAVE a right-analog stick!) and the game is utterly unable to handle handle widescreen monitor resolutions. This is a broken disaster of a game that should never have been released in this form on PC. Full Review »

This game is the worst port of all time. I bought it on Steam, and guess what it says "Move Right Analog Stick" Like seriously were Ubisoft so lazy that they couldn't even be bothered to change the basic instructions? Also, get this, the camera moves really slow when you move it around, even at 100% mouse speed, it's still the same, and thats what really kills the game. The extremely sluggish camera speed. Resolutions aren't that good, doesn't go up to 1680x1050, it's a fairly old game but look at Half-Life 1, Valve makes it compatible with every resolution so why cant this game?

Dont buy this for PC it's most probably a lot better on consoles.
