  • Summary: Rayman's world kicks into multiplayer overdrive in this total competition crash course with the cast of Rayman 2. Smoke the competition on mind-bending racecourses, or spark up a lum-flinging firefight in the battle arena. And with 8 characters, 24 maps and up to 4 combatants, now Rayman's got more ways to reign supreme than ever. [Ubi Soft] Expand

  1. If the difficulty was lowered and Battle mode was more revised, Rayman Arena could have been a much greater game.
  2. A shoddy port of an otherwise average game.
  3. Rayman as an arcade racer/shooter is just not fun – and this interpretation is almost completely void of inspiration and innovation.
  4. For some insane reason, the developers decided that you have to insert both discs in sequence every time the game boots... It's just completely preposterous. [Feb 2003, p.96]

My boys love this game. To watch them race and enjoy it makes the game worth every penny. Putting in both discs is annoying but so what.

This game (which I've played as Rayman M) is just awesome.
It's really fun, and I keep coming back to it every year or so.
    I might not like
it like Rayman 2 Rayman 3, but it's still amazing and I usually don't even like this sort of games but here the gameplay's just so fun, the graphics are cool, seeing the loved characters from Rayman 2 come back is really cool... And also the new ones (Razorwife xD).
And the soundtrack? Hell yeah. Definitely lives up to those of Rayman 2 and Rayman 3 (which have some of my favourite game soundtracks ever).
    Highly recommended.
