rComplex suffers greatly for its focus on style over substance, choosing to provide players with a beautiful game, complete with an intriguing story, only to make it inaccessible thanks to poor design choices when it comes to the basic endless-runner gameplay.
rComplex as a whole, sadly, misses the mark. We like the unique art style and attention paid to the narrative, but the actual game is too unforgiving to enjoy, especially compared to the best titles in the "running" sub genre. There's still hope this could turn out OK, but for now, you should spend your money elsewhere.
Despite its stylish graphics and solid core concept, rComplex suffers from a number of small issues that compound to create a less-than-enthralling debut.
A gorgeous art style and some really clever concepts can't paper over the fundamental cracks in rComplex's design.
Run, run as fast as you can - away from rComplex if at all possible.
rComplex provides little more than a sluggish, annoying, unpleasant experience.
