At the start, you choose a character based on the car that he or she comes with and, probably more importantly, the special attribute held by that character. The British James Bond-like character drives an Aston Martin and cannot be tracked by missiles. A female Asian character gets extra traction. Another of the female players will not be targeted by the turrets around the track. Oh, yeah! The tracks have guns that will try to take you out, too!
Overall, while the graphics are a little dated, they do the job just fine. The vehicles all deform appropriately for the damage they receive, and there is generally plenty of contrast to tell where the track ends and the wall starts. And, if you have a buddy who likes this genre, this game does support multi-player.
Overall, it's a great game that really didn't get the credit it deserved.… Full Review »
