  1. Solid block-fitting fun and only a tenner. Classic puzzle action. [Issue#9, p.60]
  2. An engaging, if sometimes brain fizzing, option. [Sept 2008, p.114]
  3. Roogoo is a strange creature, combining cutesy childlike design and whimsical story with fiendish gameplay and a steep challenge curve. Stripping away the fluffy exterior reveals a meaty core that will satisfy even the healthiest of gaming appetite for the time it will take to finish.

So while Roogoo might look like a standard falling-block puzzler when you first lay your eyes on it, after taking it out for a spin for about an hour or so, its fun factor becomes apparent. It does a good job of keeping the gameplay fresh and increasingly challenging throughout the 45 stages.
  5. It works, but finishing a stage tends to come as a blessed relief rather than something that makes you welcome the next challenge. [Sept 2008, p.89]
  6. It's easy to pick up and play, and hard to put down at first. However, after a few hours players will probably get a little tired of playing.
  7. While it does nothing spectacular, it has enough pretty colours and plain, shallow addictiveness to hold your attention for the two or three hours the game lasts. [Sept 2008, p.76]
