Horrible port, Deep Silver is too lazy to look at the controls for the PC. Game play is super repetitive!!!, just mash attack and the enemies will run into you. combos are useless, you just push them away. dumb AI. please, avoid at all cost!

A relatively bland game void of any quality outside of some jokes here and there. This title is an obvious port aimed at IOS game consumers. Intended for a casual crowd who want zero challenge. The AI in this game is atrocious, most of them don't even feel like they are programmed to fight against a player but rather just spam attacks and wait for you to walk into them around the same time they are attacking. Simple spamming wins the game, intended as a game to play when on a train, bus or toilet. A sad money grab on the Sacred name. Expand

Combat is quite repetitive. Fun to play while watching tv or listening to an audiobook at the same time...
    I wouldn't consider this a sacred game.
It does look like an IOS type game. Simple controls, blocky mid-rez graphics, very short in every respect. Story isn't worth mentionning imo.

Poor control, limited combos, artificial intelligence often fails too many times. repetitive gameplay maybe it could be fun to play with a friend on coop mode, else this game is not worth it

Pros: The visuals and theme are great. Game play is decent if you have a console controller for your PC.

Cons: This game was clearly designed for console and the developers were too lazy to even implement correct PC controls for the port. The keyboard controls for this game are abysmal and mouse keys are not even programmable in the key bind options. Servers are unstable and playing
co-op online is essentially impossible at this point.

Summary: Buy this only if there is a 75% off steam sale. May be fun to play with your child on a console, but offers little for a mature gamer.

A pale imitation of Castle Crashers with an empty multiplayer lobby.

Fine for an hour at a time, but shouldn’t be treated as anything other than a lower alternative to better games doing the same thing.

The game is pleasant to look at but quickly became tedious and repetitive (even though it’s short – took me less than 4 hours to complete). There’s no challenge in it either – the enemies grow stronger, but the hero does that faster due to the character development system and new weapons. [CD-Action 06/2013, p.64]
