  1. This game does a remarkable job of actualizing the events it presents. The graphics are strong, and the lighting effects are dynamic...It just lacks competitive depth.
  2. Despite a slick presentation and several clearly enjoyable moments, Salt Lake fails to capture the magnitude of this periodic winter spectacle and is in reality an entertaining yet brief whirl through just a fraction of the events you might expect.
  3. The grand total of six events feels rather skimpy, and they're very uneven in how well they play. [May 2002, p.90]
  4. 40
Suffers from a lack of replay value: Once you get the hang of its flawed controls, it is possible to get a gold medal in each event within an hour or so of play, leaving little reason to ever touch the game again.
