  1. The plot this time is loaded with not so surprising reversals and twists. As Sam & Max veterans we have learned by now to expect the unexpected. Perhaps we have become jaded. Like Max, we like it that way.
  2. A great ending to an amazing season, and it ties a lot of things from both seasons up nicely.
  3. While it is rather hard to call this episode out as being the best in the season without pointing directly at every other episode and explaining that they are firmly the reasons it is like that, this is simply the best of the bunch.
  4. The artists are on form, even if the writers are coasting. [June 2008, p.89]

fantastic ending to a fantastic series with excellent writing and art style. manages to tie up any loose ends from previous episodes and link them together as well not quite as good as "chariots of the dogs" though Expand

I generally like Adventure games, but I find this entire series to be lame, at best. I bought all of the latest series, played the first 3 through, but just couldn't stand to finish the last 2. Not recommended! Expand
