  1. For those who dare to tug on the tiger’s tail, prepare for an experience that will satiate your lust for money, power and women while simultaneously entertaining you almost every step of the way.

It does a whole lot to fix many of the problems with other games in the genre, and it does an absolutely fantastic job of bring the world of Scarface to gamers.
  3. Although it is formulaic at times and some of the set missions such as protecting a boat with a helicopter gunship while it catches sharks for a restaurant are a bit cheesy, the challenge of making more money, spending it and gaining greater power are as addictive as the white substance that makes its way up Tony's nose.
  4. Much thought has obviously gone into the mechanics of translating the film into an interactive experience. [Jan. 2007, p.64]
  5. Plenty of depth, great sound and visuals, copious amounts of unnecessary swearing, oodles of violence and an awesome central character in Tony Montana - it's not quite GTA IV but if you can't wait until next October then you should definitely say hello to this little friend!
  6. Scarface the game is not a classic befitting of the film, but it’s an edgy, uncompromising, sometimes humorous and overall positive offering, which makes the blatant cadging from a superior game series just a bit more forgivable.
  7. There are some questionable gameplay choices and it can be confusing at times, but the sharp script, solid voice acting, and uncanny atmosphere show an appreciation for the source material like few movie games do.
  8. If you forgive it for its flaws, the game accomplishes its mission. You end up with a taste of what it’s like to be Tony Montana.
  9. About as good as movie-to-game adaptations get.
  10. Scarface's attitude is enjoyable and infectious. [Dec 2006, p.94]
  11. Despite design cleverness and an engaging cityscape, there's just no joy here. [Christmas 2006, p.90]
  12. You control territories: It's like a much more fleshed-out version of the gang warfare in "San Andreas". [Jan. 2007, p.72]
  13. Like the film, Scarface is brutal and often ridiculously over-the-top. It uses the GTA template effectively but may feel too familiar for Vice City veterans.
  14. Simply put, the random missions are repetitive and they soon get very boring.
  15. Not awful, but there's not enough crack in the world to choose it over "GTA." [Christmas 2006, p.101]
  16. Once you get over the whole rewriting-the-end-of-the-movie thing, Scarface: The World Is Yours is a competent but usually uninteresting action game.
  17. 60
Worth a tour if you really loved the movie, but maybe less so if you've already played the hell out of Vice City. We can't really blame Scarface for the familiarity of the setting, but the fact remains that we've been here before.
  18. If you’re into blood, guts and violence then Scarface is not a bad game other than the pretty lame AI.

to be honest the game lacks alot of things in gta like buyin clothes and various side mission but it succeeds in the combat which is so much fun especially the rage it's very good and alot of swearing words r very great with the great voice actor who really was 95% close to alpacino voice also the songs in the game r great not only the songs from the movie but also the latin and pop alot of them r great btw the best song in the game for me was Latin soul-narco trafico
the graphics is average but who cares about graphics
in the end it's a very enjoyable game that took me 20 hours and 27 min to complete and the best thing ever about da game is that feeling of being tony montana and feeling like a real boss especially when u got to control people with u and that rage which made the feeling of boss power great
    i give it a 8
