Semispheres is a smart, relaxing, and challenging puzzler that brings fresh ideas to the genre.
Semispheres ultimately presents one of the most unique puzzle games I’ve played in quite some time.
There are plenty of puzzlers out there, but there’s just something special about the way this implements such a peaceful, meditative stance.
Eventually I would love to see a timed mode added to this to make it even more challenging.
Semispheres is simple, but it isn't easy. If you're looking for a challenging puzzle make sure you have a look at this one, even though it falls short on content and modes.
An attempted breath of fresh air within the puzzle genre ultimately fails to convince because of its limited content and a severe lack of challenge.
If this was the first game I'd seen with this control scheme I might have more glowing words, but in the shadow of Brothers, it's more difficult to recommend this one. Unlike Brothers, Semispheres does very little to show what interesting things can be done with this control scheme. It's an inoffensive game – it's not bad in the moment, but does nothing to make itself memorable.

Summary Semispheres is a meditative parallel puzzle game that places dual realities at the heart of its challenge. Its unique single-player split-screen mechanic challenges your brain by putting you in control of two characters at the same time.
