  • Summary: The real problem with Seven Games of the Soul is that it's not only nonsensical, but it's also pretentious.

Definitely not a game for everyone. But for those of us who enjoy a good, solid adventure of the more morbid variety, SGOTS is definitely not a bad choice at all.
  2. This game fascinated me. I enjoyed both the challenge and the way it allowed me to connect with the characters and their lives - showing them not as freaks but as all too human.
  3. A philosophically ambitious game that distinguishes itself from the crowd. A rewarding experience, but expect plenty of confusion along the way.
  4. The characters are varied and some of the storyline is interesting but, unfortunately, it's too easy to become stuck or bored.
  5. Meant to be dark and atmospheric. It's set in a strange amusement park. And when it makes sense, it can be fairly creepy. Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense very often.
  6. Lacking a concrete sense of direction and any evidence that tender loving care was exercised during its development cycle, the journey unfortunately resembles purgatory more than outright damnation.

This game makes no freakin' sense whatsoever. It's so maddening in its incoherence, it'll make you grab your temples in pain and moan like a llama with a hangover. It's adventure gaming at its worst and it'll suck the brain cells out of your head quicker than you can say "Doh!"
