  1. This game is more than your average links simulation—it’s a lifestyle.
  2. An all-round fantastic experience. It's got enough building to keep god-sim fans happy, enough interaction to keep Sims-fanatics interested, and enough detail for even the management freaks to have a damn good time.
  3. SimGolf does manage to provide a game that is especially simple to play and continues to be fun long after you've managed to turn a profit.
  4. An interesting and very playable game...not as much as Civilization or the The Sims, but good nonetheless.
  5. A fun, inviting sim game that manages to do away with the hob-snobbery that usually surrounds golf. It's cleverly designed and is a good choice for strategic simulation fans.
  6. It delivers the gameplay in a unique way and it is so addictive that the box should have a warning.
  7. It's a virtual, and literal, bummer. SimGolf is a fantastic game, by far Meier's most playful project to date, marred by all-too typical PC game glitches.
