The Best of Sonic´s classics. when you combine two great games together it makes one perfect. the game balances Speed and precision, as well an enhanced gameplay and controls of it´s predecessor´s traditional Classic 2d formula. I find it satisfying to see Sonic and his mates run on the water, or using Knuckle´s gliding ability to skip a chunk of a level. I find the Hyper transformation neat, hope to see it again someday in future games. blue spheres is an amazing special stage for this game, it is fair and enjoyable for me. the final boss is however an Death Egg Robot, but the boss is made splendidly, and has him shooting lasers and fire. Doomsday zone is an chefs kiss for simply being an true final boss, it kind of reminded me of Dragon ball fights. I honestly love this game, and I can´t stop playing it because it´s very addictive and replayable.

One of my favorite games of all time, and it's not even a question. This game's sense of speed and level of control are what previous and even later entries of this series, tried so hard to achieve and never quite could.
Every level in this game is fun and dense, even the water level are fun start to finish!
This game is also a perfect example to how to tell a cool story with zero dialogue, which is easier said than done.

Sonic PEAK 2D SIDESCROLLING!
THIS Title is Perfect in everything that attempts to do.
The way the story is told, the ambiance, the level design, the Cutscenes, the final Boss fight, the levels( especially ICE CAP ZONE AND SKY SANCTUARY), Michael Jackson Contribution with the songs, the exploration, the special Stages, the 2P mode, come on,I don't need to tell more this game is the best 2D Sidescrolling, the replay factory on Knuckles story is also great, it's perfect Game you definitely must play, being a Sonic fan or not!
