  • Summary: In Spider-Man 2, Manhattan becomes a gamer's playground as you take the role of Spider-Man in a battle against the nefarious Doc Ock. Based on the plot of the movie Spider-Man 2 and the heroes and villains created by Marvel, the game allows players to encounter unique and dangerous villains as they patrol the streets and rooftops of the biggest city created in any Super Hero game to date. If you've got a 7-10 year-old who enjoyed the movie, feel free to tack another star on to the score; otherwise, consider yourself warned -- this is not your father's Spider-Man 2.
  2. The problem with Spiderman 2 is its lack of depth.
  3. Why didn't the PC get the GOOD version of Spider-Man 2? Who decided to make an entirely different and decidedly mediocre version of the game specifically for Windows users?

After three hours (if you can make it that far) of crappy controls, mediocre visuals, and boring and generally unimaginative gameplay, you'll actually be glad to have finished the game so you can return it or burn it and move on with your life.
  5. This game can be completed, from start to finish in two hours. I am not joking. What's more is there's no incentive to go back and replay anything in this game. All in all, the PC version of this magnificent film, with an equally magnificent console game does not measure up to either side of its namesake.
  6. This game just feels like an insult. Or maybe a practical joke. [Nov 2004, p.80]
  7. The game sucks in every sense of the word. Sure, Bruce Campbell narrates the tutorial but that is the sole tiny nugget of goodness buried in this huge pile of wasted game.

The game is nowhere near as good as the other versions, but I don't think it is that bad. It is disappointing that it does not have the open world features of the console versions, and the controls are NOT preferable, but it held my attention long enough to play it multiple times. While many did not (just look at nearly all of the other reader reviews) I enjoyed this game. Expand

My god this is awful. I remember i was playing this just because i didn't have anything to play! Only thing that keeps it from absolute 0 for me is a Mysterio part, but only because i like idea of this, you know, wrecked apart city that floats in the sky. Other than that, it's one of the worst games ever made. Expand

This.Is.A Waste.Of.Time!After you see how HORRIBLE is the gameplay, how BORING is the game, how SHORT is the game, without free roam, you will uninstall the game from the computer and play the game on the console. If you want to finish the game,it will take 2 or 3 hours. After completing the game, you will laugh, burn your computer and make some random things.
