  1. A romp to remember and a multiplayer taste to acquire and savour.

With its high production value, smart level design, and impressive story, STVEF is simply one of the finest first-person shooters to come out this year.
  3. A masterpiece of story telling and electronic enjoyment, rolled together in one tight package of pure gaming delight.
  4. The best Star Trek game ever, and a first-rate FPS in its own right. [Dec 2000, p.138]
  5. Not just a great Star Trek game, but a really great game in general.
  6. 91
Definitely one of the best FPS to come out this year, and certainly is one of the best Star Trek games ever.
  7. Couple this awesome visual presentation with a solid game engine and then couple that with a painstakingly faithful Voyager plot and you’ve simply got one of the best Star Trek action/adventure games you’re ever going to come across.
  8. As a fast-paced and intense gameplay title, it is appealing to those who have no idea what Star Trek Voyager is.
  9. Action gamers rejoice! A straightforward action shooter that produces both a strong single player and online multiplayer experience.
  10. It represents the first perfect translation of another medium, be it film, television or another form of entertainment, to a computer game.
  11. There was enough original action and story line to keep me playing right to the end and wanting more missions.
  12. Even provides an excellent FPS experience for those who may not wear their pointy rubber ears to bed at night like we do.
  13. The most important thing, though, is that Raven seems to have actually made the world of Star Trek: Voyager -- dare I say it? -- fun; an impressive task in and of itself.

Excellent plot and acting, though it's a shame they couldn't get Jeri Ryan. As far as I know, the Elite Force series is the only Trek incarnation as an FPS. Fortunately, they nkocked it out of the park with this one. It's wonderful getting to explore Voyager and be a part of their journey for a brief period. Yes, compared to today's high def graphics it looks ancient, but it still plays competently. I recommend it to any fans of the series, but it should appeal to anyone who loves sci-fi. The expansion (from what I recall) doesn't really add much to it, but getting to explore more of the ship is certainly a treat. Full Review »

Finally, a good - a great - Star Trek game. Based on a good -but not great - Star Trek series (no, really, it was good. Oh yeah? Right, you and me, outside, NOW!) Full Review »

Star Trek Voyager Elite force remains faithful to the original TV series even infusing a sense of charm on it's own. However the gameplay may not have aged as gracefully as it could have. Full Review »
