The developers have taken some of the components that have made a lot of today’s games popular, mixed them together, thrown in a sexy thief, and blended it all together nicely.
-
70You can’t play and enjoy Stolen like it’s another action game off the shelf at all, and that’s going to understandably rankle some traditionalists.
-
65The hi-tech gadgets are there - yet you don't need them. The massive levels are there - yet most of them are plain boring. The place is full of security cameras and guards - yet you can easily deal with them once you've familiarized yourself with the gameplay mechanics.
-
Although it is relatively entertaining to play the game falls flat mostly because of a few key aspects: enemy AI, and the sheer linearity of the level design and gameplay.
-
53An undeveloped plot, derivative gameplay, idiotic enemies, and boring presentation.
-
Sadly, encounters with enemy AI - particularly in combat - are by far the weakest link in an otherwise enjoyable effort. [Apr 2005, p.98]

35I hope this review has illuminated the truth for you, and prevented you from making the same mistake others across the Internet have already made when they purchased this pile of smeg.

31An awful port of a dismal console game. Buying this would be a crime-in-itself. [July 2005, p.98]
-
30A grubby looking, badly conceived and hastily programmed game that does nothing for the genre except add unnecessary limitations. [Apr 2005, p.110]

28Ditch this loser and go play one of the three far-superior Splinter Cell games. [Oct 2005, p.68]
