It's the best "grand" strategy game since the 1993 classic "Clash of Steel." [Nov 2002, p.138]
A great game. The combination of turn-based tactics and limitless strategic operations places it as one of the finest strategic wargames of all time.
For the most part, it's a satisfying re-creation of the struggle that defined the 20th century. But because it lacks a challenging AI, it eventually falls apart as anything other than a multiplayer game.
If you're looking for some "war gaming lite" or are new to war games, Strategic Command's simple play mechanics and grand scale might make it an enjoyable diversion for you.
SC may lack the luster of today's games that require a GB of space and the highest of everything for the ultimate gaming experience, but for a game that only requires 30 MB of space, it can be truly addictive.

For those who worship Hex Strategy games, this title may interest you in someway but again it must be enforced to say HEX-STRATERGY Gamers ONLY!
