Weird, casual and simple, but surprisingly deep for what it is. [Mar 2011, p.66]

A lot of fun awaits you playing Swords & Soldiers. Easy game-play, nice graphics, funny sounds. I really enjoyed playing this cheap game. Sometimes there's no need of use of super 3D and DTS sound to produce quality. Expand

It's not that is boring in the way it is simplistic. It's just too hard when you cannot group your troops and they just keep running to their deaths as you create them.

I found it quite find for the first hour or so, but I kinda lost the pull from the game I reached the skirmish for the Aztecs. Maybe I suck, but this game is _not_ as easygoing as "Plant's vs. Zombies".

This "strategy" game is missing the strategy.

It looks quite nice and it's sort of fun, but really this gameplay is WAY too simple for what I expect from a PC game... This feels like a phonegame that lost its way and wound up on the wrong platform. I played it for 24 minutes according to steam before getting bored and moving on. Expand

God why have I not learned yet… Tower Defence games are the absolute worst genre known to man! This one however I feel could be an interesting game for those who do enjoy the genre! It has a very cartoony-fun style to the game it actually reminds me somewhat of something from the likes of “Asterisk and Obelix”! So the game is fundamentally the same principle as other tower defence games, whereby you defend a tower and send your little soldiers out to do battle with the enemy and destroy their towers! Maybe it offers nothing new, but I did like the look and feel of the game; I just didn’t enjoy the objective! Expand

Very simple and lacking in strategy with a short campaign. Multiplayer is the same as single player and unremarkable. Completely average and yet probably the best one-handed game I've played. Collapse
